At this point in ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," just about any elimination will come as a surprise.
Before Tuesday night's results were announced, there were six couples left to duke it out on the ballroom dance floor, and their judges' scores were close and often tied. At the bottom of the board were fan favorites, including Kendra Wilkinson, Kirstie Alley and Romeo.
After the crowd was entertained by a green-haired Nicki Minaj (in addition to Wayne Brady and James Blunt), the announcement of who was getting the boot was made: Wilkinson, who consistently scored low throughout the reality dance competition, was sent packing.
On Monday night, Wilkinson actually didn't finish with the worst score — that went to Alley and Romeo who each scored 30 points. Wilkinson earned 31.
She and her partner, Louis van Amstel, danced the tango on Monday night, and the judges thought that she was getting closer to nailing ballroom dancing. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said on Monday night that Wilkinson still needed to work on her frame, but found her performance to be sophisticated. "You've never looked more elegant and ladylike but still sexy," judge Bruno Tonioli commented before her scores were revealed.
