The Indiana Pacers didn't refer to their 109-100 victory over the Golden State Warriors as being huge or a momentum changer in their season.
The Pacers simply called it a victory, one they badly needed because of what lies ahead.
"Very important, that's how I see it," Pacers forward Danny Granger said. "We had just lost two in a row and we're headed out on the road for some tough ones."
The Warriors had a chance to tie the score with less than 30 seconds remaining, but forward Dorell Wright missed a 3-pointer from the corner in front of the Pacers bench.
The victory was much needed for the psyche of the Pacers.
