Lakers go on the road and beat Hornets in Game 3: L.A. fan reaction

The Los Angeles Lakers looked a little more like the defending champs as they beat the Hornets 100-86 in the third game of the playoff series. Los Angeles certainly wasn't dominant for the whole game, but they played well in the fourth and were able to win in New Orleans. Kobe Bryant(notes) and Pau Gasol(notes) combined for 47 points, as the Laker stars were able to find their rhythm and capture a tough road victory.

Kobe Bryant scored 30 points on 10-20 shooting and added six rebounds and three steals. It was the 80th time that Bryant has scored 30 or more points in a playoff game. He is second on the all-time list behind Michael Jordan, who did it 109 times.

Pau Gasol bounced back after having dreadful performances in the first two games of the series. Gasol scored 17 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and had four assists. More importantly for the Lakers, he was much more aggressive and even hit a rare three-pointer from the corner.

Young center Andrew Bynum(notes) also had a solid game with 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Sixth Man of the Year winner Lamar Odom(notes) added 13 points and 9 rebounds. When the Lakers get this kind of production from a variety of players, it is hard to stop them. Los Angeles just has too many weapons on offense.
