San Antonio Spurs Hoping for Tony Parker to Step Up with Manu Ginobili's Status Uncertain
Tim Duncan came out on fire for the San Antonio Spurs in their Game 1 matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, and the bench provided a spark, but point guard Tony Parker was MIA.
Parker shot 4-for-16 on Sunday in a game the Spurs lost, 101-98.
Parker could at times afford to do this in the regular season, but this is the playoffs and, most importantly, guard Manu Ginobili is not in the lineup yet.

Sunday's disappointing loss for the Spurs showed more than anything how much the team depends on Ginobili and that it will have a hard time winning the title if they don't get him back soon and Parker continues to struggle.
