His body was found at the intersection between Hoima Road and the road that connects to Nabweru in Nabweru South Zone Cell II.

Luyinda's body was intact without any visible cut or bruises and it was fully dressed.

He, however, had traces of blood on his head and it is suspected that he was strangled.

John Mukwaya, a crime detective at Nansana Police Station, said investigations had started to ascertain the circumstances under which the trader died.

Police said documents recovered on him included a card identifying him as a trader working with Produce, a trading company with branches in both St. Balikuddembe Market and Kikuubo.

Also found on him were two ATM cards and sh214,500, plus vitamin B and C tablets.

She added that when it clocked midnight, she made frantic calls to the deceased's relatives and friends and informed them about his disappearance.

Wanyana said as they proceeded to report the matter to the Police, one of the relatives received a call from someone who reported the discovery of a body in the Lubigi swamp. Wanyana said they later confirmed that the body was that of her husband.

Fred Muteesasira, a colleague at Kikuubo market, told Bukedde he gave Luyinda sh1.2m on Saturday morning, which he had requested for.

"He told me he needed the money to purchase some merchandise. He also revealed that he expected a huge profit and assured me
