Erik Spoelstra's goal for the Miami Heat on Monday night was a complete effort. He littered his team's pregame strategy board with "complete" on every item.

While the Heat emerged with a resounding 117-90 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, it hardly was a complete game. After pushing to a 19-point second-quarter lead, the Heat saw the Cavaliers close within nine at halftime and three early in the third quarter.

Of course, it wasn't going to get much better than that for the shorthanded Cavaliers, who are enduring the cruelest form of complete misery.

"We wanted to play a complete game," Spoelstra said. "We're starting to feel like we're almost complete, with a healthy group right now. We didn't necessarily play the complete game that I was looking for."

While the victory extended the Heat's winning streak to three, after a run of five losses in six games, the loss continued the punch-line existence of Byron Scott's team.
