"Valve Software has shed light on some of the features PlayStation 3 owners of the action puzzle game Portal 2 can expect when the game hits stores in April.

The PS3 version will include support for Valve's online service, Steam, which brings a host of options such as cross-platform chat and cross-platform play, meaning PS3 players can play with PC and Mac users.

It will also feature cloud-based storage of saved games for the PS3 as well as unlock a Steam Play copy of the game. Once players link their Steam and PlayStation Network accounts, they will be able to play on PS3 and then pick up where they left off on either a PC or Mac.
