DAYTON, Ohio -- A woman is in jail on charges stemming from a bizarre murder plot.
Police said Donna Michelle Dix, 42, had sex with a hit man. In exchange, he promised to kill another man who had refused to sleep with her.
Officers said they believe that the hit man made good on his promise when he shot and killed 34-year-old Corey Mitchell back in May 2010. Mitchell's 11-year-old daughter was also wounded in the attack, but survived.
Dix is now faces charges of complicity to commit murder. Her bond was set at $1 million.
