This season's Cleveland Cavaliers are in a historic tailspin, having set an NBA record Saturday with 24 consecutive losses in a single season. But are they the worst NBA team of all-time? 10. 1970-71 Cleveland Cavaliers (15-67)
No team should have to play the first seven games in franchise history on the road. But that's what happened to this unlucky bunch, as Cleveland Arena already had booked the Ice Capades. The Cavaliers – no one called them "Cavs" in those days – opened their first season with 15 straight losses, most of which were so bad that games seemed like little more than 48 minutes of garbage time. Luckily, coach Bill Fitch had a great sense of humor and the Cavaliers received the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, which they used to select Cleveland legend Austin Carr.
