THE
Government is to introduce a tough law on witchcraft practices in the
country, ethics minister Dr. James Nsaba Buturo has said.
According to findings, Buturo said witchcraft is the leading cause
of disputes, death in form of human sacrifice, low productivity and
poverty in the country.
He was addressing a press conference at the Uganda Media Centre recently.
The law will also sensitise the public on witchcraft. Buturo added
that the media will also be held accountable for promoting witchcraft.
